Finca Villacreces celebrated on Saturday, June 21 a new edition of Pruno Day (the first was in 2017) a unique experience on the banks of the Duero, among vineyards and bicentennial pines that sit on a meander of the Duero river. Participants accessed a full immersion in wine culture, where different activities opened the doors of Villacreces to unveil all the secrets behind its acclaimed Pruno, a wine that was acclaimed by Robert Parker at the beginning of the last decade.
In this 2025, the Villacreces wine festival premiered several proposals - Con las manos en la cepa and Barrel Workshop - two very interesting initiatives to delve into the culture of wine and discover the secrets that are so attractive in this world.
In addition, in its commitment to human expressions, Villacreces also organized the activity Painting and Wine, to learn about the different painting techniques to apply them to wine labels.
The storms, which cooled the atmosphere of a hot June 21, did not prevent the performance of the Valencian soloist Sienna, who connected with the audience through a very intimate live with songs from his latest work “Trance”.
At 18:45h, the Madrid rock band Rufus T. Firefly took the stage of the Pruno Day to put the finishing touch to this day. The rain, which stopped the concert half an hour after it started, gave a unique moment, since the Madrid band decided to do something exceptional and finish the rest of the set list in an acoustic concert inside the winery, surrounded by barrels, and side by side with their fans.
Throughout the day, the prunolovers enjoyed the music of OscarMina, one of the most complete and recognized dj's of the national scene.
Pruno Day could not miss the gastronomy and, as every year, offered different dishes to share with their wines, from the famous lamb skewer to different foodtrucks with hamburgers, grilled octopus and other vegetarian options.
